Background
The idea for Reclaim was born from the need to address two key issues in Britomart: the lack of visibility for local artists and the increasing litter problem that disrupts the area’s beauty. By creating an interactive map that highlights public artworks and the sustainable practices of the artists behind them, the app makes it easier for people to engage with the city’s creative culture while promoting environmental awareness. Reclaim is important because it not only supports local artists by giving them a platform to share their work, but it also encourages sustainable habits, helping to preserve Britomart’s artistic and natural charm for everyone to enjoy.

The app features a dynamic map pinpointing murals, sculptures, and other public art, making it easy for users to explore and engage with their city's creative spaces. Each artwork listing includesS details about the artist, their sustainability practices, and ways to support their work. Users can also favorite their preferred artworks, creating a personalized collection of inspiring pieces, and rate them to share their thoughts with the community. This interactive approach encourages deeper engagement with local art while promoting sustainable practices.
The Campaign
