Ahi Ahi is a community-centred Brand dedicated to bringing families together through fun and healthy activities. Our Brand values cultural appreciation, inclusivity and families, aiming to create a lasting positive impact on our local community in Birkdale.

Background
Ahi Ahi addresses safety concerns for new and young families exercising in Birkdale due to narrow sidewalks and heavy traffic. Our solution is a community event featuring a safe, illuminated walking route at dusk. Featuring educational displays, games, and workout stations. This event creates a secure environment for families to exercise together, fostering a culture of health, safety, and community in Birkdale. We offer an illuminating experience for the community to connect, share, and brighten our neighbourhood for the future.

Through a bright, friendly, welcoming tone and illustrative graphics, we aim to make viewers feel at ease and excited about joining our community event, Brighter Birkdale. How it works!
Our Ahi Ahi event app is designed to provide users easy navigation and access to a local walking group. Residents and users can locate our activities schedule and access the interactive map with planned routes. The app also includes other features, such as a personalised profile, the opportunity to join a local walking group and access to upcoming walks. This app makes users and residents feel safe, informed, excited, and connected to the community for the upcoming event, Brighter Birkdale.
The Campaign

The Brighter Birkdale campaign is to increase awareness and involvement in the family-friendly and community-driven event for a safer, brighter neighbourhood. The event is an evening walk with fun educational activities and cultural learning to promote family health and well-being. It also fosters community involvement and connection, creating a safer, brighter neighbourhood. To reach our target audience of New & Young families, a promotional poster was created that can be advertised on local billboards and at bus stops. Elements of the poster, such as the QR code, ensure further engagement with the event app, registration and event details. The visual aspects of a warm, contrasting sunset colour palette, graphics, and cultural elements visually appeal to our audience. It also represents the brand's family, community, and cultural inclusivity values.
