The Arcave is a new, fresh and exciting arcade that offers new trendy games and old retro games that will send you on an adventurous nostalgic trip! This arcade is limited to one branch located in the Southmall Shopping Centre. This area is always bustling with life and banter which is why we think it's the perfect place for our arcade. Our wish is to take the stress and frustration off of parents and their kids while they shop which is why at The Arcave we value Innovation, Creativity, Joy and Community.
Background
Southmall Manurewa is known for its mall and many families in the area visit it to do their shopping or eat lunch. Although, while these families are shopping their kids start to get agitated and the pre-existing entertainment for kids located in the mall do not appease them. Kids can enter The Arcave for free through a playing card loaded with points after their parents make any purchase at Southmall, these points accumulate through the app and automatically topped up onto a registered playing card. Allowing parents to shop without stress, and their children are able to enjoy our variety of video games to help work their brains and give them a break from those long hours of walking around and waiting for their parents to finish shopping.
The Arcave is a great way to bring the community together and create long lasting memories for families. Not only does it take away parents' stress while shopping but it does not cost money and can be entered just by shopping locally in Southmall while parents are doing a grocery run, getting laundry done,buying bakery and more!

The Arcaves explainer video empathises with our parental audience and proposes a solution to their worries and stress while shopping and looking after their kids. With this video The Arcave hopes to grab the viewer's attention to our brand - getting the children excited about a new arcade and encouraging parents to trust our brand and give themselves some “me time" while shopping.
How it works!
The Arcave app is an app for parents that accumulates points from any purchases they have made in the Southmall Shopping Centre by giving their unique code to the cashier. In this app they can register their playing card, access their unique code, browse through stores and navigate our FAQ page. With their collected points their kids will be able to play the games at our arcade with the registered playing card for free!
The Campaign
The poster is a promotion towards our explainer video, as the advertisement spreads our posters will be easily identified with the stick figures shown in the imagery. We’re bringing authenticity by relating our posters back to our branding name by using cave graphics in pixelated. Ensuring easy access we have our QR code displayed which will take people straight to our app to jumpstart the person's journey to collecting points and getting free access to The Arcave.
