Background
Shoestring was created to help international students who can't afford to visit home during university breaks, as well as young people who want to travel but find it expensive. The app works by connecting people in similar situations, allowing them to share advice on free or cheap activities, how to save money, and where to find affordable accommodation, making travel more accessible.
